For this project, MD Golden Builders transformed an open patio into a beautifully shaded outdoor living space by designing and installing a custom pergola at Ziv’s home in San Diego, CA. The goal was to enhance comfort and usability while complementing the home’s unique hillside setting.
Planning & Design – Collaborated with the homeowner to design a structure that fit the existing patio and maximized the hillside view.
Site Preparation – Cleared and prepped the concrete patio, ensuring a solid foundation for the new pergola.
Custom Pergola Construction – Installed a durable, stained wood-frame pergola with a natural wood ceiling finish and integrated ceiling fans for added comfort.
Finishing Touches – Included fine detailing, electrical integration, and final staining to match the home’s aesthetics and outdoor decor.
This pergola installation not only improved the functionality of the outdoor space but also added architectural interest and year-round comfort. Whether for relaxing, entertaining, or enjoying the view, Ziv’s upgraded patio now serves as a seamless extension of the home.
